Never used a shampoo bar before?
Here's how it works:
Wet hair and the shampoo bar.
- Rub the bar over the crown of your head.
- Lather the soap into your hair with your hands, spreading the suds over your entire head.
- Rinse and repeat if desired.
- Condition as usual.
Tips:
- A great way to naturally condition your hair and scalp after using the shampoo bar is to use an apple cider vinegar rinse. Simply add a tablespoon or so of vinegar to a cup of water and pour over head. A squirt or spray bottle of this mixture can be kept in the shower for convenience.
- Occasionally, frequent use of any shampoo bar can cause some dryness of the scalp. Try decreasing the frequency of use or employ a deep-conditioning technique for the scalp about once a week. Virgin coconut oil or shea butter rubbed into the scalp, left for a period of time up to several hours or overnight, and then washed away is an excellent method.
We color and scent our soaps naturally with plant derived ingredients. Due to the volatile nature of some of the essential oils we use, during the curing process, the scents may have weakened a bit from the external surface of the bar. This is normal soap behavior. Be assured that the scent on the inside will be stronger as you use it. Likewise, colors may vary from batch to batch due to the nature of the ingredients, and the soap's color may fade over time, especially if the soap is exposed to light. To preserve the colors during shelf-life, keep the bars in a dark cabinet or closet away from direct light and moisture.
Also, to insure a long-lasting bar of soap, it is best to keep the soap out of the direct stream of water, otherwise it will soften and dissolve prematurely.
As always, if soap gets into the eyes, flush with plenty of tepid water.

Jury Still Out
I brought this soap to see if it would help my hair grow. I love how it lathers up, and my skin isn't dried out after using.

Nice mild soap
The scent on this one is more mild, but still an excellent soap.

Great shampoo
Love this for travel but you really need to use conditioner afterwards

head to toe bar
I just opened it and have used twice. So far, I really like it. The fragrance and the feel of it on my skin equally appreciated. The chunkier bar was a little hard to get used to, but not enough to hinder my using it. Very nice soap!

great soap!!
Smells great, lathers up nicely. I always use the lotion bar afterwards. I'm still experimenting with using it as a shampoo, so the jury is out.

Silky Hair
I have been washing my hair with bar soap for almost a year but I wanted to try this one because of the ingredient list, especially the rosemary. I love it! My hair is soft and silky. The scent was strong enough to be invigorating without being overpowering. I'm glad I bought two bars and I plan to order more.

Head To Toe
I use Head to Toe every other day as a shampoo and every day for my skin. This is the only soap I have tried that doesn't dry out my face. It also does a better job of cleaning my hands after working in the yard, including removing sap from cutting pine tree branches.
